Description

The Gaelic Flip is a modern cocktail that was created by Charles Joly in Chicago, Illinois. It adds an Irish-inspired twist to the iconic Flip template, which pairs a spirit and sweeteners with both the white and the yolk of an egg, by calling for Irish whiskey in place of sherry. It then balances the spiciness of the whiskey and thickness of the egg with sweet fortified wine, simple syrup, allspice liqueur, and a aromatic dusting of nutmeg on top.
