The Apple Pie Gimlet is an autumn cocktail that was first published in the book Gin O’ Clock: A Year of Ginspiration by Craft Gin Club. This version uses London Dry Gin, pares down the lemon a bit, and adds a homemade apple cinnamon syrup for more spice and seasonal flavor.

Kendall’s Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kendall’s Take: "Hello, new favorite fall cocktail! The Apple Pie Gimlet is tart, tasty, and great for fall sipping, especially after tweaking the specifications a bit. Unlike the Spiced Pumpkin Punch from the same same book, you can definitely tell this a gin cocktail; the spirit’s flavor is very prominent at first but not overwhelming and is followed by tangy apple and lemon, which I thought was a fabulous combination. I would definitely add this to your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner menu pronto."
