The Top Hat is a modern twist on the classic Brown Derby cocktail, created by former bartender Alex Sukopp for his wedding, that layers rosemary and peppercorn bitters with whiskey, grapefruit, and honey for a bright yet lightly spiced finish.
Base Spirit: Whiskey
Method: Shaken
Serving Size: 1
Add bourbon, grapefruit juice, honey syrup, and bitters to a shaker.
Fill shaker with cubed ice.
Shake for 10-20 seconds.
Using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer, strain into a coupe glass.
