The Salted Caramel Apple Martini is an autumn cocktail that was created by Alex Sukopp, former bartender of Sips From Scripts, as a variation of the Candied Apple Moped from Have Yourself a Merry Little Cocktail by Emma Stokes. The author's version takes the familiar template of a Vesper Martini and turns it autumnal with a flavored vodka and Calvados. This version opts for a salted caramel syrup in place of the flavored vodka for a sweeter taste and more caramel color.
Place a martini glass in the freezer.
Add gin, apple brandy, and salted caramel syrup to a mixing glass.
Fill mixing glass with cubed ice.
Using a bar spoon, stir for 30-45 seconds until well-chilled and slightly diluted.
Using a julep strainer, strain into chilled martini glass.
