Description

The Miruvor is a modern cocktail that was created by Cassandra Reeder and was first published in her book The Geeky Bartender Drinks: Real-Life Recipes for Fantasy Cocktails. The author describes it as a boozy take on the reviving cordial made by the Elves of Rivendell in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series. Apart from its ability to renew the strength of those who consume it, little is known about the drink from the books, but it is said to have been modeled after the nectar of the Valar, which was made from Yavanna’s flowers and honey. This cocktail version takes inspiration from these qualities by pairing floral liqueur and honey syrup with botanical gin and herbal white tea.
