The End of the Line is a Marvel cocktail that was created by Alex Sukopp, former bartender of Sips From Scripts, for the release of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. It was inspired by Bucky Barnes, specifically his tour of Europe during World War II and the flashbacks from his past portrayed in the show. The recipe focuses on his more righteous years by using spirits from the three European countries in which he fought the Nazis, pairs them with citrus and cherry liqueur, and tops it all off with Tiger beer, the bottle he’s seen drinking in episode one of the new show. The drink is also named after Bucky’s famous exchange with Steve Rogers in the movie Captain American: The Winter Soldier.
Add gin, orange curaçao, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur, and bitters to a shaker.
Fill shaker with cubed ice.
Shake for 10-20 seconds.
Fill a beer glass with fresh cracked ice.
Using a Hawthorne strainer, strain into beer glass.
Top with beer.
Garnish with orange slice.
