The Blood Orange Sunrise is a modern cocktail that was created by Clare Liardet and was first published in her book Dry: Delicious Handcrafted Cocktails & Other Clever Concoctions. The original is made by mixing several fresh citrus juices, including pomegranate, blood orange, and lime, and pairing them with a rich honey syrup and refreshing soda water. This version, however, adds vodka to make it boozy.

Kendall’s Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
Kendall’s Take: "This cocktail is just as it sounds—refreshing, tangy, and delicious! Although it certainly doesn't need to be boozy, I did add a touch of vodka into my Blood Orange Sunrise to turn it back into a cocktail and would love to try it again with some tequila, champagne, or even sake."
