The Applejack Rabbit, a vintage cocktail from 1920s, was revived by renowned bartender Jim Meehan while at the bar Gramercy Tavern. In this version, Laird’s apple brandy is paired with maple and two citrus juices for a balanced, flavorful sip.
Base Spirit: Brandy
Method: Shaken
Serving Size: 1
Add apple brandy, lemon juice, orange juice, and maple syrup to a shaker.
Fill shaker with cubed ice.
Shake for 10-20 seconds.
Using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer, strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with lemon twist.
